JULY 1, 2009 – A 53-year-old man was found dead beneath the rear wheel of a tractor he was operating, authorities said. Reginaldo Correa Talamantes of Willows was discovered by his wife after he failed to return from work or answer his cell phone. Glenn County Sheriff’s officials said the tractor was found wedged against a tree in a field owned by Trinity Orchards of Chico. The tractor was still in drive and both rear wheels were still spinning, authorities said. The death was the seventh in Glenn County since Friday, including five that are under coroner investigations, authorities said.
