A 2005 report on Dateline NBC identified the stretch of I-15 from southern California to Las Vegas as one of the most dangerous roadways in the country. Speeding contributed to 173 I-15 fatalities over a five-year period, according to the report. Cajon Pass Truck Accidents

In San Bernardino County, the Cajon Pass is a stretch of I-15 that is known for high wind and fog.
